Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C the 2nd Gig: Motoko Kusanagi 1/7th PVC by Alter

Ric-Kun being the man of the world that he is, has traveled to a place with no internet connection. I’m doing the text in this post for him, but he took some pretty awesome pictures of this 1/7 Motoko Kusanagi PVC by Alter. I don’t have this one personally… I saw it at a convention and I’ve had numerous chances to buy it online, but I can’t make myself fork over the 80+ for it. Nonetheless it is a nice PVC.

Shakugan no Shana: Shana 1/8th PVC by Max Factory

Compared to Eureka Seven, there seems to be an unlimited number of Shana no Shakugan PVCs on the market these days, with even more on the way. The question for any discerning otaku then becomes which one of these they should buy. Thankfully, Max Factory has answered that enigma for us with their sculpt for Shana. An easy recommendation for beginning and veteran collectors alike, this beautiful, highly detailed, and captivating sculpt is one of the few that seems to come alive just sitting on your shelf.

Highly recommended: no flame-haze ever looked so good. And semi-translucent hair was never used so appropriately.

these pics were taken months ago, but we’ve just recently had the chance to upload them. these particular 1/4’s belong to my cousin, and by now or soon he’ll also have the tsuriya, yuki, and kyon no imouto. Ric also picked up the pair at a con recently, and has since pre-ordered the rest of them.
