I’ve said in the past that I hopped on Alter’s MSLNS line late in the game so Reinforce II is a recent addition to my collection.  Even though I’ve only had her a week, she’s quickly become a favorite of mine.  Today we’re taking a look at what’s quite possibly the cheapest 1/1 scale figure ever produced: Alter’s Reinforce II PVC from Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS.

Understatement of the year: figures are becoming more expensive.  Obviously, some of that is to be expected with the global economic downturn, but I’d also argue that it’s because the  production quality of  figures have generally increased.  Using those points I could always reason out that increased cost, but no amount of reasoning can justify a figure that’s nearly $300 – especially one that’s not all that good.

Holy crap it’s an update!?! So excuses again, I’ve been working 25 out of the 27 days this month. Those two days were for the Aion beta weekend lol. I’m just a workaholic. I will try to update weekly but with classes starting next week which I am not looking forward too, I probably won’t >< lol.

As you can see from balalaika_ism’s posts, we’ve gone to a few Korean restaurants for dinner and while there they play K-pop which has recently sparked my lost interest in Korean music XD.

There are no big hauls this week just a bunch of hanging out. I know the pics of big hauls are popular but it just didn’t happen. So for this week you have another series of random images related to(most of the time)  anime.

I just wanna say that I love Lynn Minmay. I don’t see why everyone has been hating her for as long as she’s been around. People she’s just trying to live her life, pursue her dreams, when you were in high school did you want to sit at home and do nothing but wait at home for your BF to call you? NO. Sorry to break it to you Hikaru bro, but she’s got a life to live and dreams to chase independent of the expectations you’ve projected upon her.

I was wondering the other day if we’d start seeing some Melancholy figures inspired by the second season or if “Endless Eight” left such a bad taste in everyone’s mouth that it killed all possibilities for merchandising.  For my part, I’d buy a figure of every swimsuit that Yuki was wearing.  :3  Today we’re taking a look at Alter’s 1/8th scale Yuki Nagato “School Uniform Ver.” PVC from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.
