Little Busters! PVC: Kotobukiya Rin Natsume
I haven’t played Little Busters! so I don’t know the story and I don’t know the characters. But I *do* know that when Key is involved that means moe girls. Yes, they tend to be moe girls with tragic pasts, but they are moe girls nonetheless. It’s because I am blessed with that knowledge that, while I haven’t even played the game, I haven’t stopped myself from buying the PVCs!
Hobby Busters!
Rin Natsume was released by Kotobukiya in June of this year and is still really easy to find. There have been two companies releasing Little Busters! figures (the other being Beat) and I think Kotobukiya has got it nailed in terms of design and production quality. The pose is really dynamic as well.
I know very little about Rin Natsume, but I do know she has an affinity for cats; so I guess it’s appropriate that Rin comes with an alternate face. She also has an optional pair of cat ears, which you can see in some of the images in the gallery below.
I got off my butt and did a few outside shoots for this series. It’s been a while so results were mixed, but all in all I think they turned out well and provided some much needed variety.
This isn’t who I promised to bring you last time but Rin here was just too much fun to pass up on. That and I’ve been feeling under the weather lately so I wanted to do something quick._>_<_While I really like this PVC is was Rin’s SD alternate face that made it a “must buy” for me: it’s fresh alternative to all the dumb smiles and blank stares we usually see. I display her with that face and I just love it!

I display Rin with the regular face — I actually haven’t even tried angry-neko no kao yet (I know, pathetic) but inspired by these photos I think I’ll swap them in the next day or so. One thing I really like is that the neko mimi are magnets and the permanent part of Rin’s head has some metal in it so it’s totally simple to change her appearance in that regard. I do like this figure a lot.
A friend of mine just sold me his old copy of Little Busters so I’m looking forward to seeing her various expressions in all of their Key glory soon.
