Kemeko Deluxe! PVC: Max Factory Emuemu + Nendoroid Kemeko
All I know about Kemeko Deluxe! is the following: “A chibi robot appears in the room of a typical high school boy. The robot claims the boy as her husband and then a beautiful girl comes out of the doll’s mouth who knows the boy from 10 years prior and had been promised his hand in marriage.* “ Sounds like your redundant harem and typical romantic comedy set-up – sort of a moe hybrid of Chobits and Ai Yori Aoshi. All I can say is: sign me up!

Kemeko Deluxe!: 1/8th Emuemu PVC
What I actually have for you today is three figures in, erm, two. Max Factory first released a regular PVC of Emuemu and then an Nendoroid figure of Kemeko in July of this year. The really fun part is that you could combine the two! The down side? You have to buy both separately. First lets take a look at their 1/8th scale Emuemu PVC figure.
Like I said I don’t know much about the franchise (apparently the show hasn’t even begun it’s broadcast), but I think Max Factory brought out their usual A-game and gave us a quality figure. I do think they sacrificed a little in the design of Emuemu to make the combination with Nendoroid Kemeko work. You can see the seems in this last picture and when Emuemu’s full legs are used they look kind of unnatural.

Kemeko Deluxe!: Nendoroid Kemeko
I don’t really have too much to say about Nendoroid Kemeko here except that she is almost too cute for words – and she’s got an AMAZING gun. I could be in the minority here, but if you compare her as stand alone figure to Emuemu, I like Nendoroid Kemeko more. She’s got more going on in terms of color, is more playful, and is posable.
The down sides? Nendoroid Kemeko is an nendoroid figure and therefore extremely hard to pose without limbs popping off. I also would’ve liked to see some additional melee weaponry (did I mention I really like the gun?
). Regardless, she’s über cute.

Gattai!! Kemeko Deluxe! Nendoroid Kemeko + Emuemu!
The combination of the two is my absolute favorite and is how I choose to display the figure(s). The Emuemu PVC itself comes with the extra Nendoroid head you need to merge the two but, again, you need to buy Nendoroid Kemeko separately. I didn’t and thus had to wait a couple extra weeks to make this feature a reality. ^^;;
According to HLJ, the Emuemu PVC is still being produced but Nendoroid Kemeko has been discontinued so if you are looking to complete this pair I’d hurry up and do it now. The 1/8th Scale Emuemu PVC runs between (USD) $60 and $80 and Nendoroid Kemeko should only cost you about (USD) $40. It’s a costly pairing, but well worth it in my opinion.
This “Emuemu + Nendoroid Kemeko” combo is a unique addition to my collection. I just love the absurdity in the contrast between something so cute looking and the ridiculous notion of a young girl jumping out of a large robot mouth. Thank you, Max Factory: I now know why people take up poetry.

Low Level Lighting! Go!
I am simply having way too much fun with the post today.
I have to say that I am thrilled with what Max Factory did here and that I hope to see more of this type of thinking in the future.

End
Whew! That was a lot longer than I’m used too. You can check out the full gallery below, which contains more pics for the stand-alone Emuemu PVC and the Gattai!! Nendoroid Kemeko + Emuemu! combination. Peace out!
