Yeah past few weeks have been pretty rough but spring break is just around the corner and the work load has lightened a bit. I really want to get Cornelia done during spring break but with all the friends coming back to visit I’m sure to spend even less time in my workshop than before. I’ve also gotten some pretty good progress done on the tree since the last time I posted here’s where it’s at currently.
Well after the slump from last week I went back to the work bench at full speed. Except I didn’t buy brown paint until Monday so what exactly did I do for the entire week? Of course I touched on C.C a little but I eventually put her back in the box because I honestly didn’t want to deal with the straps for my next kit. That and I think I lost a few of them too.

Alright I know this isn’t my usual day of the week but I haven’t really been up to snuff these past two weeks. I’ve finally gotten my act together and just wanted to make a post. I ran out of Brown paint about a week ago and with that I kind of stopped working on Haruhi. On the bright side I got some work done with C.C which I wasn’t able to do last time. I was able to fill the gap between C.C’s thigh this time around though but I’ve also run out of putty (both polyester and epoxy) so I’m at a stand still in that department as well.
I was able to spend a good amount of time painting this week. I’ll let the picture do the speaking.

Well this week marks the first week of going back to part-time status so that should leave more time for models and the like. I was able to do some minor sanding and assembly of the Acguy parts but I wasn’t able to test fit them until Sunday. With pretty much the rest of the week off I should be able to breeze past this next phase pretty fast and actually get to painting and detailing the parts.

To say I’ve been gone for a while is an understatement and I’ll leave it at that. I haven’t really had time to work on models (or even my columns for that matter) the past few months but I’m back now so let’s get started. I basically recoated the orange and future on the Bell X-1 and I’m going to try the lighter fluid instead of enamel thinner since I hear it it’s less corrosive, but that will have to sit for a week to cure. So what to do now.
