I had expected my absence from posting during the holidays to yield a larger figure pool to talk about; similar to what happened when I returned from my previous break.  There were a number of announcements but only a few of them I felt were worth talking about.  There are a couple coming down the pipe from Comiket 77, but since there haven’t been official announcements for those I decided to leave them off.   So here are the figures I’m excited about this week.

After checking the net on Monday I was worried that it would be a pretty weak week for new pre-orders.  There had been a couple Ikki Tousen figures from Griffon and a really crappy Kyou from some company I’ve never heard of, but not much else.  It looked so bad I was left wondering what I’d do about today’s post.  But, as the week ended much better than it started, here are some more figures I’m excited about.

Well the new fall season is here and what a season it is. Sequels everywhere! You have the big sequels like Gundam 00, Clannad ~after story~, Shugo Chara and Rosario + Vampire Capu 2 to the shorter shows like ef ~a tale of melodies~. Not only that you have a few titles that don’t fall under the sequels like Toradora, Hyako, Akane Iro ni Samaru Saka, Kameko DX, and Kurogane no Linebarrels just to name a few and between all of those that’s just the stuff that I’ve picked up to watch. Theres a couple other titles that I haven’t touched.
