Last week also saw the arrival of this little gem from Alter which allowed me to bring her to you today. When I first started covering “upcoming” figures and noticed all the exclusives coming down the pipe I absolutely hated it. I thought they were a cheap, gimmicky way to artificially create interest for a figure and get an extra 20-30 bucks out of it at the same time. Slowly, begrudgingly I began appreciating exclusives for their increased quality and more imaginative compositions, and even found myself ordering a couple despite my initial resolve. Leave it to Alter to cut through another week of dry PVC pre-orders with a couple of fantastic figures. Granted we’ve seen them before, but they’re still a welcome breath of fresh air from the rather stagnant string of announcements I’ve seen. Too bad I can’t same the same for Clayz’s offering, but at least it fits in with today’s secret ingredient.
