Polyvinyl Crush

Taking the cue from Aka’s recent wishlist I thought it would be fun for me to try my hand at it as well.  I thought it would be something fun for the Christmas week as well as easy to write considering I spent the better part of yesterday digging my car out of two feet of snow.  Following what Aka did with his  I’m also trying to make a true wishlist; meaning these are figures I wish I had but are either hard to obtain, exorbitantly expensive, and/or don’t actually exist but I would like to see made.  Santa Yuki is one of them.  :3

I think I’ve had a post where I said that whatever was in that gallery was my first PVC, but this PVC is actually my first PVC.  I have no idea what series this is from and from the date on the foot… it looks like I bought it 12 years ago.  It’s been so long I don’t remember exactly when I bought it.

I was probably in middle school at the time.  I was at the mall and I saw this in a blister pack hanging from the wall.  I still remember what I was thinking.  “I don’t know what this is from or why I want it, but I do.  It is pretty.”  My thought process hasn’t changed much since then, I just know a little more about anime now.  As much as I do know… I have no idea where this came from.   That’s where you come in… yes you!  There is probably someone out there who knows what this is, leave a comment.  I’m sorry.  I should know but I don’t. If you are an Evangelion fan (and who isn’t? ) and you like buying cheap, non canon renditions of Rei and Asuka then this hobby is your playground. From plug-suits to swim suits; and from girls with sticks to girls on sticks; there hasn’t been an outfit these two haven’t tried. In fact, there are almost too many Rei and Asuka figures on the market. Almost. I stress that point as the rabid fan in me refuses to admit any error on the part of Evangelion, but also since when the good figures do come out they come out strong.
